Dream Gala
Naming // Branding // Collateral // Web // EVENT
With the belief that the right safety measures & medical expertise can make camp possible for kids who have been affected by cancer, Children’s Cancer Research Fund developed an in-person camp with on-site medical facilities and staff, accessible cabins, and adaptive activities. Additionally, a completely virtual option was created to ensure a unique camp experience for those unable to attend in person due to their health or location.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Often kids with cancer are the only child they know who has experienced cancer and they end up singled out in their communities because of this. In order for camp to be a place where kids can truly get away, cancer needs will be met so that cancer is not the sole focus. The brand look and messaging will need to follow suit and be deeply aware of the childhood cancer experience but not scream that this brand is solely about cancer.
The look and feel needs to be approachable for kids aged 8-17 while also still looking polished and professional to major donors and companies looking to fund an established program.
